Ingredients
Scale
- 1 sheet Frozen Puff Pastry (thawed overnight in the refrigerator)
- 2 Tablespoons All Purpose Flour (for dusting the dough)
- 8 Ounce Wheel of Brie Cheese
- 1 cup Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce
- 1/4 cup Chopped Pecans (optional)
- Fresh Rosemary Sprigs (optional)
Instructions
- Place the wheel of brie cheese in the freezer for 15 minutes so that it keeps its form while baking.
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F and spray a mini muffin pan generously with a non-stick cooking spray.
- Sprinkle the flour onto a cutting surface and roll out the puff pastry.
- Cut the sheet lengthwise into 4 even strips and then cut it crosswise into 6 even strips making 24 equal size square pieces.
- Press each piece down into the mini muffin tin.
- Dice the wheel of cheese into 24 small pieces (approximately ¾ inch in size) and even place it inside of the center of each of the mini muffin tin.
- Top each square with a heaping teaspoon of the whole cranberry sauce.
- Top each one with chopped pecans (if using).
- Bake for 18-20 minutes until the dough is golden brown.
- Let them rest in the pan for about 5 minutes. Carefully remove to a serving plate and top each piece with a sprig of fresh rosemary (if using).
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
- Ensure puff pastry is fully thawed before rolling out.
- For extra flavor, consider adding herbs to the cranberry sauce.
