- 20 oz cheese tortellini
- 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Garlic powder
- Smoked paprika
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 1 1/4 cups parmesan, shredded or freshly grated
- Parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
- Red pepper flakes (optional, for garnish)
- Cacked black pepper (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the cheese tortellini according to the package instructions; drain and set aside.
- Season the steak with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Cook the steak to desired doneness, then remove and let it rest before slicing.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant.
- Add the heavy cream and whole milk, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer.
- Mix in the parmesan until melted and the sauce is creamy.
- Add the cooked tortellini to the sauce, tossing to coat.
- Serve topped with sliced steak and garnish with parsley, red pepper flakes, and cracked black pepper as desired.
