Description
A refreshing mixed fruit salad with a light dressing.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 red apple (cored and chopped)
- 1 green apple (cored and chopped)
- 1 lb. fresh strawberries (hulled and quartered)
- 1 small pineapple (outer skin and core removed, fruit cut into pieces)
- 1 pint fresh blueberries
- 2 cups red grapes (halved)
- 4 kiwi fruit (peeled and chopped)
- 3 oranges (peeled and segmented)
- 2 firm ripe bananas (peeled and chopped)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 1/4 cup fresh squeezed orange juice
- Zest of 2 limes (2 teaspoons)
Instructions
- Place all of the fruit in a large bowl. Set aside.
- In a food processor, blender or medium bowl with a whisk, combine all of the dressing ingredients until well combined.
- Pour the dressing over the fruit and stir to coat.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate.
Notes
- Use fresh, ripe fruits for the best flavor.
- This salad can be made ahead of time but is best served fresh.
