Description

A refreshing mixed fruit salad with a light dressing.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 red apple (cored and chopped)
  • 1 green apple (cored and chopped)
  • 1 lb. fresh strawberries (hulled and quartered)
  • 1 small pineapple (outer skin and core removed, fruit cut into pieces)
  • 1 pint fresh blueberries
  • 2 cups red grapes (halved)
  • 4 kiwi fruit (peeled and chopped)
  • 3 oranges (peeled and segmented)
  • 2 firm ripe bananas (peeled and chopped)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh squeezed orange juice
  • Zest of 2 limes (2 teaspoons)

Instructions

  1. Place all of the fruit in a large bowl. Set aside.
  2. In a food processor, blender or medium bowl with a whisk, combine all of the dressing ingredients until well combined.
  3. Pour the dressing over the fruit and stir to coat.
  4. Serve immediately or refrigerate.

Notes

  • Use fresh, ripe fruits for the best flavor.
  • This salad can be made ahead of time but is best served fresh.
