Description
A delicious side dish featuring sweet potatoes glazed with maple syrup, topped with marshmallows and pecans.
Ingredients

- 2 large sweet potatoes, scrubbed and sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (or melted butter)
- 3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
- 12–16 large marshmallows (or mini marshmallows)
- 12–16 whole pecan halves
- Cooking spray or parchment paper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- Slice sweet potatoes into 1/2-inch thick rounds.
- In a bowl, toss sweet potato slices with olive oil, maple syrup, sea salt, and cinnamon.
- Arrange slices in a single layer on the prepared sheet.
- Roast for 20 minutes, flip, then roast another 10–15 minutes until golden and tender.
- Remove tray and place a marshmallow on each sweet potato round.
- Broil for 1–2 minutes until marshmallows are golden and puffed—watch closely!
- Press a pecan half on top of each toasted marshmallow immediately after broiling.
- Let cool for 2–3 minutes before serving.
- Optional: drizzle with maple syrup or sprinkle with cinnamon or flaky salt before serving.

- Feel free to substitute mini marshmallows for large ones.
