Description

This rustic bread is flavored with fresh rosemary and roasted garlic, perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tsp active dry yeast (1 packet)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • 4 cloves roasted garlic

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix warm water and yeast; let sit for 5 minutes until bubbly.
  2. Stir in flour, salt, rosemary, and roasted garlic until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it rise at room temperature for about 2 hours or until doubled in size.
  4. Lightly flour your countertop and shape the dough into a ball.
  5. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C) with a Dutch oven inside.
  6. Transfer the shaped dough into the hot pot, cover with lid, and bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Remove the lid and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
