Ingredients

  • 1 tsp monosodium glutamate (MSG)
  • 4 soft burger buns
  • 4 slices American cheese
  • Lettuce, tomato, pickles (as desired)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
  2. In a bowl, mix the ground beef with MSG until well combined.
  3. Divide the beef into four equal portions and shape them into loose balls.
  4. Place each ball on the hot surface and smash down with a spatula to form patties.
  5. Cook for 2-3 minutes until browned; flip and add cheese on top.
  6. Cover for 1 minute until the cheese melts completely.
  7. Assemble burgers with preferred toppings and serve immediately.
