Description

Delicious, rich chocolate brownies that are easy to make and incredibly satisfying.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 200 g dark chocolate
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Melt dark chocolate and butter together over low heat then cool slightly before mixing.
  2. Whisk in sugar then add eggs one at a time followed by vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Fold in flour, cocoa powder, and salt gently until just combined.
  4. Pour batter into a lined pan and bake at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes until just set.
  5. Heat cream, pour over chopped chocolate, stir until smooth then spread over cooled brownies and let set before slicing.

Notes

  • For extra fudgy brownies, do not overbake.
  • Serve with ice cream for an indulgent dessert.
