Description

Learn how to make a delicious air fryer whole chicken that is perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 34 lb whole chicken (frozen)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 350°F for 5 minutes.
  2. Remove chicken from plastic packaging and rub olive oil all over. Sprinkle seasonings on to stick, can massage it on to coat.
  3. Spray inside of basket and set chicken in with breast facing up. Close and cook for 10 minutes.
  4. Open; if there are giblets in the cavity you should be able to pull it out now. (I choose organic that does not have a giblet bag and says so on the package).
  5. Flip chicken over and cook for 25 minutes. Then open once again and flip over the final time.
  6. Air fry for another 20-25 minutes or until the temp inside the thigh is 165 degrees F.
  7. For crispier skin, spray the top with olive oil 10 minutes before it is done cooking.

Notes

  • Choosing an organic chicken without a giblet bag can simplify the cooking process.
