Ingredients
Scale
- 16 oz sour cream or Greek yogurt
- 16 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 3 tablespoons homemade taco seasoning (or one 1 oz store-bought packet)
- 1 ½ cups chopped lettuce
- 2 medium tomatoes (chopped)
- ½ cup chopped bell peppers or sliced jalapeños
- 1/3 cup sliced olives
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- optional toppings: Guacamole, sour cream, corn

- Mushroom quesadillas or perfect cheese quesadillas
Instructions
- Using an electric mixer, combine sour cream or Greek yogurt, cream cheese, and homemade taco seasoning. Mix until well blended and creamy.
- Transfer this mixture into a 9- to 10-inch pie dish. Spread into an even layer.
- Top with lettuce, tomatoes, bell peppers or jalapeños, olives, and cheese. You can reserve about 2 tablespoons of some toppings to sprinkle over the cheese to make it pretty.
- Serve taco dip immediately with baked tortilla chips or yellow corn chips. Or, cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
- Make sure to soften cream cheese before beating—this will make the mixture smooth faster.
