Description

A delicious baked fried rice dish made with long-grain white rice and mixed vegetables.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups long-grain white rice (uncooked)
  • 3 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp neutral oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 eggs (large)
  • 1 cup cooked protein (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Add uncooked rice, broth, soy sauce, sesame oil, and neutral oil to the dish. Stir gently.
  3. Sprinkle vegetables and garlic evenly over the rice.
  4. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 35 minutes.
  5. Remove foil, stir rice, and add eggs and cooked protein.
  6. Bake uncovered for 10–15 minutes until eggs are cooked.
  7. Fluff, garnish, and serve hot.

Notes

  • For added flavor, consider using a mix of different sauces.
