Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh peas (or frozen)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. If using fresh peas, shell and rinse thoroughly. For frozen peas, use directly from the freezer.
  2. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter until bubbly. Add peas and sauté for 3 minutes until vibrant green and tender.
  3. Pour in heavy cream, season with salt and pepper, and simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in fresh dill until well combined.
  5. Serve warm as a delightful side dish.

  • Using fresh peas enhances the flavor, but frozen peas are convenient and still delicious.
