- 1 pound boneless and skinless chicken breasts or thighs, sliced
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 cups chicken broth (link)
- 1/2 cup heavy/whipping cream
- 1 cup caesar dressing (link)
- 8 ounces pasta (gluten-free for gluten-free)
- 1/2 cup parmigiano reggiano (parmesan cheese), grated
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)
- 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped (optional)
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken with salt and pepper and add to the skillet. Cook until browned and cooked through.
- Add the onion and garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the chicken broth, heavy cream, and caesar dressing. Bring to a simmer.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, mixing until combined.
- Remove from heat and stir in the parmesan cheese. Adjust seasoning with salt, pepper, and lemon juice if desired.
- Garnish with parsley before serving.
