Description

This creamy chicken pasta is a delicious and easy dish that combines tender chicken with pasta in a rich cream sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 pound boneless and skinless chicken breasts or thighs, sliced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 cups chicken broth (link)
  • 1/2 cup heavy/whipping cream
  • 1 cup caesar dressing (link)
  • 8 ounces pasta (gluten-free for gluten-free)
  • 1/2 cup parmigiano reggiano (parmesan cheese), grated
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped (optional)
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken with salt and pepper and add to the skillet. Cook until browned and cooked through.
  2. Add the onion and garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent.
  3. Stir in the chicken broth, heavy cream, and caesar dressing. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, mixing until combined.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the parmesan cheese. Adjust seasoning with salt, pepper, and lemon juice if desired.
  6. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

  • This dish can be made gluten-free by using gluten-free pasta.
