Ingredients

- 1 bunch Asparagus (Trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces)
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil (Extra virgin)
- 1 tablespoon Fresh Lemon Juice (Juice from about half a lemon)
- 1 teaspoon Lemon Zest (Zest from half a lemon)
- 1 teaspoon Garlic (Minced)
- 1 teaspoon Salt (To taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper (Freshly ground)
- 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley (Chopped)
Instructions
- Wash and trim the asparagus, cutting it into 2-inch pieces.
- Mince the garlic and chop the parsley.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the asparagus pieces, salt, and pepper. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Stir in the lemon juice, lemon zest, and chopped parsley. Cook for an additional minute.
- Remove from heat and serve warm.
